What is a digital download?
A digital download is a an electronic file that can be downloaded from the internet in a digital format such as:
- SVG
- PNG
- JPEG
- HTML
- so on....
Our digital downloads
Most of our digital downloads include multiple formats. These are SVG, PNG, PDF and JPEG. For crafters such as ourselves, our favourite is an SVG. This stands for Scalable Vector Graphics.
What is so special about SVGs?
An SVG can be englarged or compressed and still keep its quality and clarity. Most images are created with pixels so when they are enlarged they become very pixelated and well that is a crafters nightmare. These files also allow us to split up designs based on colour so when creating items using HTV (heat transfer vinyl) you can make sure you are cutting only the colour you need and can stack the image appropriately.
What can I use an SVG file for?
If you have a cutting machine such as a Cricut, Brother scan 'n' cut or Silhouette you could use the file to make cards, stickers, clothing, and well the list goes on.
How do I purchase and download one of your digital files?
Our digital downloads can be found here. Simply add the file you want to your basket and checkout. You will then recieve an email from us with a link to your file. This can then be downloaded. Our files come in a ZIP folder so once you have downloaded you will need to extract them. Most computers/laptops allow you to do this by right clicking.
That file is now yours until you no longer need it!
